First London Impressions

image consultant, image consultant

I'm sitting on a bench under a beautiful tree on the banks of the Thames, “the Thames” as it's called here. Eh yes ! I'm in fish and chip country. I find it difficult to realize myself. And my God! I am not in the country of the rose on vacation or temporarily. It is now my place of residence. It all happened so fast!

It is hot which, as I understand, is rather rare here. I admire rowers progressing to the rhythm of their coxswain's voice. I see seagulls and birds that I'm not used to seeing. I see people walking, cycling, running. I see a man on a bike but in a suit and tie while others are half naked if not two-thirds. There is everything, but everyone seems to go their own way without passing judgment, which surprises me. I really have the impression that you can walk dressed as you like. Nobody disturbs anybody.

I feel like I'm in another world. I'm all the more surprised that I didn't anticipate this new life at all, but then really not! But when the opportunity presented itself, I did not hesitate to seize it. It was a unique opportunity, for me as for the children, to open up to another culture and above all to acquire the international language par excellence of this XNUMXst century, one that is not only basic for the image consultant I am but also the one who allows wherever you are today on earth, in any country of one of the five continents, to be able to communicate and exchange with your fellow human beings, which makes a most appreciable difference , not to mention the access to an incomparable wealth of information that it opens up in the age of the Internet. You should know that this is the first time in the history of humanity that a language is spoken by a greater number of people for whom it is not the mother tongue than by people for whom it is the mother tongue.

And to think that only three months ago someone would have said to me, "In July you'll be sitting by the Thames enjoying the view and the breeze that passes over your head and your shoulders”, I would have replied “Of course! We can always dream ! But what did you take to say such a thing! ". And there, at the beginning of July 2019, I am planning to make videos for “chantal.ats” at the exact place where I am sitting on the banks of the Thames. A place that I really like. And I know that during my daily walks I will discover a lot of others and that I will use them to communicate by video with you, my beauties in the feminine as in the masculine!

Your enthusiasm is palpable through your words. What joy in your words, it is delightful to read and wonderful to imagine yourself at the beginning of a new life as … simply as you express it. Everything seems to “flow naturally”!!!
I like to believe that one day the language of Shakespeare will be comprehensible to me!
Thank you for sharing and have a great week.
