For many, worrying about their image and Image Consulting, given the health crisis we are going through, whether in France, Europe or on the scale of our planet, is not appropriate if not is moved. I have had several comments to this effect following my last posts and my last video.
It is an attitude that I understand. In the midst of so much suffering, anguish, vital worries, pain, constraints, fear of tomorrow, how could it be otherwise? But isn't this taking the risk of locking oneself into pessimism? To give one more opportunity to the moribund atmosphere to increase its hold on our daily lives?
Are we not, on the contrary, experiencing an exceptional event which requires us to take ourselves in hand, to gather all our forces, all our energy, all our vitality, to know how to exchange a smile, to know how to keep enough openness to amaze us, despite the confinement, in the light of a spring that can bring us enchantment if we know how to welcome it and see it. This morning when I woke up, from my London bedroom, I heard the song thrush sing. She enchanted me, that is the case to say. I am grateful to her for the beauty she gave me.
No ! I feel that in this very difficult time, we need to get as close as possible to beauty, to beauty wherever it is. Beauty is a grace and it is precisely today that we all need this grace the most. In confinement or not, create the opportunity to make yourself beautiful, to make yourself beautiful. If you are confined to your family, I beg you, know for everyone's morale, mood, resilience, health, decide together for this lunch or dinner, to put on your thirty-one. I know there will be smiles, wonder, sharing. These moments will stay with you and comfort each of you for the rest of your days. Do not miss this opportunity, this opportunity.
In preparation for this meal you could benefit from the most appropriate and relevant advice in registering for a “Self Image” pre-coaching session with me. The best way in this difficult time to put admiration and joy in the hearts of your family during this most memorable evening!
